The apartment

A warm, generously appointed apartment in the old village of Alpe d'Huez, close to the centre of the resort. It occupies the third and top floor of Chalet des Lacs, served by a lift.

Seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Every room can be made up as one double bed or two singles — linen and towels provided. The living area brings together a sofa corner, two large dining tables and a separate TV room; the kitchen, fully equipped, lets you cook for fourteen without getting in each other's way.

A private ski room on the ground floor, with heated boot and glove dryers. And, in the residence, a wellness area with sauna, hammam and jacuzzi.

The essentials

What actually matters when there are fourteen of you.

Seven bathrooms One per bedroom — WC, shower, basin. Nobody queues in the morning.
Beds made up your way Each room becomes a double or a twin. You choose when you book, and it's ready when you arrive.
Sauna, hammam, jacuzzi In the residence, every day from 5 to 7 pm. A shared space; private hire outside those hours is possible, on request.
Private heated ski room On the ground floor, with heated boot and glove dryers. The skis stay downstairs.
A kitchen built for fourteen Two ovens, two fridges, induction hob, dishwasher. Fondue, raclette, pierrade and crêpe makers provided.
Ski-in access A chairlift two minutes away, the resort centre on foot. Once you arrive, the car stays parked.

Practical

What to know before you come.

Arrival & departure Weekly stays, Saturday to Saturday. Self check-in with a secure key box; the code and exact times are sent to you before you travel.
Parking Parking is available under the chalet, four spaces in a row. Be aware that after heavy snowfall access can be difficult.
Included in the price End-of-stay cleaning, bed linen and towels, WiFi, the private ski room, parking, and daily access to the wellness area.
Not included The local tourist tax, collected with the booking and paid on to the commune of Huez. It is only due for guests aged 18 and over.
